how ugly and oh how they ruin a good view. Especially the inflatable yellow ones. You want a water park? go to Weirs!
But seriously, don't you think the Loons have made a big enough comeback to take them off the endangered list? I mean, come on! We have to watch out for ducks AND loons now?? Am I the only one that gets waken up at 5 AM to the sound of a screaming bird?
But I digress...Lets talk boats. That big White Yacht called, oh what the heck is it...the MOUNT something or other...I mean that guy acts like he OWNS the lake! No care for me and my Kayach at all! I'm like paddling into Wolfeboro bay and he's the stand down boat, but I have to move? I don't think so pal! So I give a blast of my neck whistle, does he move now? NO!
Anyway...have a great weekend everyone...and don't get me started on the traffic in Wolfeboro in July~!

Maybe you could paint your kayak to look like a loon. Then the Mount would yield till you swam away?
Either that or you could go online and purchase a loon launcher, attach it to the bow, and fire birds at the Mount until he surrendered.
Oh boy, winter is making me looney...

I hope you were kidding when you wanted the Mount to move for your kayak. Do you know how long it takes for it to stop? and it cann't safely go one side or the other of its course. (which by the way is marked on charts so we will get out of its way.)

That was funny...I'm still cracking up. Thanks Trailer Guy, I was waiting for someone to find the humor in that!

Thanks Charlie, of course it was all in fun. A pun, a yank, a prank a sarcastic post relative to forum postings

The mount is like any other boat, it is required to operate in a safe manner and to follow the rules of the road. That being said, I would not want to be within 100' of its bow and broken down. my boat does not paddle that good.

The Mount being less maneuverable than just about anything is always the stand-on boat.
"The rules below cover most of the situations you will be involved in as a recreational boater. Some exceptions to these rules exist:
If you encounter a vessel which has less maneuverability than your vessel, the other vessel will usually be the stand-on boat."
